1. Nominations are open to Fairtrade Producer Organisation, Businesses and Brands pioneering Fairtrade & Sustainability in India, Institutions and Academic Partners educating about & promoting responsible practices, Youth Changemakers inspiring awareness and action about Fairtrade, Manufacturers associated with Fairtrade.

2. Applicants must be actively engaged in India.

3. Self-nominations and peer nominations are both accepted.

4. All nominees must ensure that their projects and activities fall within the eligibility period of 1st July 2023 to 30th June 2025.

1. May submit nominations in a maximum of two categories.

2. Eligible to apply for: Business Partner of the Year (relevant to their operations), and either Fairtrade Impactful Communication or Fairtrade Engagement category (not both).

1. Can apply for the Education Institution Partner of the Year.

2. Eligible to nominate one application for the Young Talent Award: this can be an individual student or a student group.

1. Must be below the age of 25.

2. Must be associated with Fairtrade school or campus program or have campaigned for raising awareness and engagement with Fairtrade in their local community.

3. Can apply as an individual or as a student group.

1. Must be either: Fairtrade Certified or have participated in training/workshops under the EU SWITCH-Asia programme on sustainable textiles implemented by Fairtrade India & Partners in Change.

2. Eligible to apply for recognition categories specific to Sustainable Textile Production.

3. Textile manufacturers can apply as an enterprise and/or nominate an employee for an individual category. Individuals from a fairtrade certified facility or who have participated in a Fairtrade/ PIC organized events or training workshop can directly apply for the individual category.
